Welcome to the Tampa Bay Research Institute (TBRI), a 501(c)(3) not for profit organization established in 1981 to conduct biomedical research. TBRI is the first independent research facility of its type in Florida.

Recent News

TBRI and Niigata University scientists publish their findings that isolated fractions from the pine cone extract (PPC) can induce dendritic cell maturation and induce cell death (apoptosis) in cancer cells. (more info)

TBRI publishes its findings that PPC induces a Th1-biased immune response capable of enhancing vaccines and improving the immune response in aged individuals while also suppressing the Th2 response associated with induction of allergy-related antibodies (IgE). (more info)
