Tampa Bay Research Institute Celebrates 30 Years in Pinellas County
St. Petersburg, Fl – (October 2011) – The 30th Anniversary celebration culminates with a Gala being held on November 3, 2011 at the Carillon Hilton in St. Petersburg. At this occasion, TBRI will honor Mr. and Mrs. John Galbraith, Mr. Andrew H. Hines Jr., and Ms. Beth Morean for their dedication to TBRI throughout the years.
Tampa Bay Research Institute is dedicated to the study, cure, and prevention of cancer and chronic diseases. The Institute’s research focuses on methods to enhance the human immune system’s ability to cure. TBRI has several patents related to this research that enhances the capabilities of the human immune system.
As an independent biomedical research institute, flexibility has allowed TBRI to allocate resources to promising areas of scientific study. The Institute has conducted scientific collaborations with several prestigious institutions around the world, including the University of Tokyo, Moffitt Cancer Center, University of South Florida and Eckerd College. TBRI has provided research training to over 100 undergraduate, graduate, and postdoctoral fellows.
